Open day Fontainebleau 2010 - 11D'

This weekend we had the open day in Fonty. I am a Singy starter, but as I'm now in Spain, going to Paris was far closer and far cheaper than going South Asia.

The day was amazing, we met some of our future fellow students (we were about 150), we met a couple of professors,  some current students, some alumni and some people from the staff. The day was greatly organized (only complain, our badges said "December 2010 class". For one second I believed that I was going to receive my degree earlier than expected, but it turned to be a typo).

They showed us the facilities and they are great. Lots of spaces to work comfortably and also to relax a little bit. However, the most important part of the day was to get to know the people. To know their different stories, their different objectives and plans. I must admit that I was a little overwhelmed when I got to know many of their stories. I also got a little jealous about all those sponsored people! But well, hopefully everything will go ok.

I am a little worried about the idea of the huge debt I'm going to acquire to do the MBA. I'm sure that the experience will be extraordinary both in a personal and professional way, but the cost is really really high. But well, I'm already in, and I'll know in 3/4 years how did it turn up.

Going back to the activities, unfortunately I missed the social events: Drinks in Paris or Dinner in Fonty on Friday (I arrived quite late to Paris), I also missed the Halloween costume party in Villecerf, one of the 'Chateaux'. Lastly, I missed to day the brunch at Paris, but my flight departed not so late, and there were some interruptions in the RER (short distance train) that goes to the airport and I wanted to have plenty of time (anyway I had to wait in the airport for more than 2 hours thanks to easyjet).

Well, I am really excited about next year. Yesterdays boosted this sensation, I'm counting down the remaining weeks (now 9)!
